This is continually my best selling Super-Tuscan for a reason.  The 2020 offers structure on the same level with wines well above it's price.  This Valdisanti hits the right notes and will elevate hearty dishes to a new level.

The 2020 Valdisanti is superb in this vintage. Rich, dark and sumptuous, this blend is alluring right out of the gate. Inky dark fruit, grilled herbs, leather, new oak, licorice and mocha are nicely dialed up. The 2020 is opulent, not at all heavy. The 2020 is a gorgeous Valdisanti.     Vinous

An undertone of Bing cherries provides pop on an otherwise earthy, metallic nose. Orange zest brings out the cherries' subtle sourness on the palate, while strong acid and heat keep things lively until a structured, tannic finish.     Wine Enthusiast

The Tolaini 2020 Valdisanti is a 50-50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from a vineyard called Tenuta San Giovanni. This is an especially intense and smooth red blend that shows impressive and seamless integration. You get the dark intensity of both grapes used in the blend framed by the sweet spice and toast of aging in French oak. This vintage carries especially broad shoulders and offers extra richness.     Wine Advocate
